Why a local PDF bench?

Most online PDF services upload your document to a server, process it there and send it back. That is a problem for payslips, medical letters, contracts and anything else you would rather not hand to a stranger’s computer. PaperCircuit does the same jobs with open-source engines — pdf-lib, Mozilla’s pdf.js, qpdf and the Tesseract OCR engine — compiled for the browser. Your file is read from your disk into memory, processed by your own processor, and offered back as a download.

  1. Choose a toolFilter the directory above, or press / to jump to the filter box.
  2. Drop your filesPage counts and sizes show up instantly. Adjust the options for the job.
  3. Download or continueSave the result, or send it to another tool without re-selecting the file.

Chain jobs in the Workbench

Real paperwork is rarely one step. A typical expense report is merge receipts → compress → add page numbers → protect. The Workbench lets you stack those operations into a pipeline and run them in sequence on the same file, with one download at the end.

Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for, and no watermark on your files. Read exactly how local processing works.
