How to use Remove pages
- Load the PDFThumbnails for all pages appear below the file.
- Mark pages to deleteClick a thumbnail to select it; use Odd / Even / Invert for patterns.
- SavePress Delete selected pages to get the trimmed PDF.
Typical clean-ups
Drop the blank backs of a duplex scan (select “Even” if every second page is empty), strip the cover and terms pages before forwarding a quote, or take an internal appendix out of a report before it goes to a client.
Selecting quickly
Thumbnails are rendered as you scroll, so even long files open fast. Keyboard users can tab to a page and press Space or Enter to toggle it. The counter above the grid shows how many pages are selected.
Is the removed content really gone?
Yes. The new PDF is assembled only from the pages you keep, so deleted pages and their text are not present in the output. If you need to black out part of a page rather than the whole page, use Redact PDF.
Checking before you save
The thumbnails are rendered from the actual file, so a page that looks blank in the grid really is blank — useful when you are hunting for the empty back sides a duplex scanner adds. After deleting, the result preview shows the first pages of the trimmed file and the result line tells you how many pages were kept, so a wrong click is easy to spot before you download.
Need more than one step? The Workbench runs Remove pages together with other operations on the same file in one go — for example merge → compress → protect.
Questions about Remove pages
Can I undo a deletion?
Your original file is untouched. Click a selected thumbnail again to unselect it before saving, or start over with the original.
Can I remove pages from several PDFs at once?
One file at a time keeps the thumbnails readable. Merge first if you want one combined, trimmed file.
Why can’t I delete every page?
A PDF needs at least one page. Use Extract pages if you only want a small subset.
